IPMA’s first event

Intellectual property practitioners and marketing professionals from across the globe participated in IP Marketing Alliance’s first event on 1 September 2026.

The online event titled, ‘Winning in IP Rankings and Awards’, was hosted on Microsoft Teams. The webinar was presented by IPMA’s management team, María Fernanda Cornejo, Jamie Sternberg, Kingsley Egbuonu and Ivan Gauci, with in-house contributions from Jessica Lister, Director of Marketing at Cantor Colburn.

The presenters shared their insights and best practices for engaging with IAM/WTR, Managing IP, Legal 500, and Chambers and Partners, and answered questions from attendees.

Research updates

IAM launched its research for the 2027 edition of IAM Patent 1000 last month. The official submission deadline is 14 September 2026. Learn more here. IAM’s sister publication, World Trademark Review, is now preparing to publish its 2027 rankings early next year.

Managing IP launched its research yesterday, 1 September, for the 2027 edition of IP STARS and its awards programme. The official submission deadline is 2 November 2026. Learn more here.
